The Backfires are a transatlantic rock band serving up an electrifying sound that captivates listeners. Their music feels like the ultimate soundtrack for a night out or an adventure—packed with energy, tension, and the potential for a little chaos.
In 2021, The Backfires released their debut EP, “Consider The Backfires”. Since then, they've put out singles like “Joyride,” “Song 55,” “Reflections on My TV,” and “Blindsided.” After a hiatus since February 2023, the band is making a strong comeback with the announcement of their upcoming debut album and tour, “This Is Not An Exit”, set to drop on January 24, 2025.
The album features three recent singles—“Brighter Lights,” “Dressed For A Funeral,” and “Replace It All”—all released in the last three months, accompanied by some awesome music videos.
The Backfires recently held exclusive one-night-only shows in both New York City and London. During these performances, they highlighted a mix of fan favorites, new singles, and some unreleased tracks from their upcoming album.
